GPS Tracking Devices unit constantly receives signals from a series of satellites that are orbiting the world , at any one time the tracking unit can be locked onto 14 separate satellites to give you a reading within 2 meters of the location of a vehicle, including the time and date. This information is then stored within the memory of the unit and at pre-set intervals (set at 2 minutes) it will then send the information into our server which is then plotted onto our live track software, the data is sent through GPRS via the simcard which every unit will need to have in order to work.
